Meanwhile, the Stanmore, Acton, and Woburn are your go-to options for in-home sound systems. It’s time welcome the Marshall Tufton, which is the latest addition to its portable family.
Following the theme of its brethren, the Tufton sports the same vintage aesthetics, which remains stylish to this day. The frame is wrapped in leather, while the speaker grille is made of metal. The brand’s script sits up front to constantly remind us of its rich music pedigree. This rectangular box stands upright in portrait orientation. All other models appear to be set in a landscape position, but it does not really affect its performance. Moreover, the carrying handle bears a guitar strap design that adds style to the speaker.
Volume, bass, and treble are controlled by analog dial knobs flanked by the Bluetooth button on the left and the battery indicator to the right. The Marshall Tufton uses Bluetooth 5.0 to pair with compatible devices up to 30 feet away. A traditional 3.5 mm input is likewise on board in case you need it.
