Active, on the go men have been using carabiners as key rings for a long time. However, just a regular mountain climbing clip is rather plain even if it is colored. Stockholm-based design house SVØRN has developed an artistically formed carabiner to be used as a key chain.

The SVØRN Arcus Carabine Keychain ($40) is 3.11″ x 1.4″ and weighs only 1.4 oz. It’s made of Zinc alloy formed into a design of sharp edges and smooth lines, and is finished in a black Chrome Noir and then given a protective coating via Physical Vapor Deposition – the same protection method used on the crystals of fine watches. The sleek keychain comes with one included split ring and is presented in an attractive gift box. It is important tot note that the Arcus Carabiner is NOT made to be used with any mountain climbing equipment, although it’s rugged enough to keep up with your keys wherever you may trek.
