Frankfurt-based Sinn Watches are known for their niche-centred, purpose-built timepieces. Their latest release is the Sinn Hunting Watch 3006, and you don’t have to be an animal chaser to appreciate its versatility.
The watch incorporates–for the first time in the company’s line–a new useful complication: a moonlight display that shows “when the moon is shining bright enough to see and catch the game”. Aditional functions found on the busy yet legible dial include the hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, Chronograph function, 24-hour display, a centre-mounted date hand, and a full calendar display.
Underneath the 44mm ultra-hard, satinized steel case ticks a Valjoux 7751 self-winding mechanism, while a special dehumidifying technology ensures greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging. Antimagnetic, shock, scratch and pressure-resistant, the Hunting Watch 3006 is covered in olive drab green, with beige Super-LumiNova markings, and arrives with either a stitched leather, matching green rubber or a satin stainless steel bracelet.
