Since Swiss watch designer Richard Mille introduced the legendary RM 011 watch in 2007, it has maintained a top place in the world of superior fashion. With its visible inner workings and unique casing materials, Richard Mille has constantly updated the RM 011 collection to express the individual personalties and lifestyles of its wearers.

Now, after 10 years of excellence, the RM 011 is being retired in favor of a new iteration of this exquisite timepiece. The RM 11-03 Automatic Flyback Chronograph ($TBA) continues the peak elements of time keeping perfection while evolving the look. The three-part tonneau case and satin-brushed grade 5 titanium upper bridge contrasts well with the movement.

The design for the crown takes inspiration from Formula 1 competition wheel rims and the ribbed NTPT carbon pusher protectors emulate control pedals, while the heart of the timepiece (also inspired by the aerodynamic appendages of Formula 1 racing cars) is a complex variable geometry rotor. The classic visible workings have even greater exposure to showcase a newly designed variable-geometry rotor which allows for six possible inertia settings. The RM 11-03 also boasts a more slimmed-down and overall lighter frame. Its price? Definitely in sport-cars territory.
