What does a former executive at an internationally acclaimed automotive company do when they choose to change jobs? Well, in the case of Dany Bahar, the answer is they start their own tuning firm and deliver spectacular results from the get-go.
After leaving Lotus behind, Bahar focused his energy into ARES Performance, a relatively new name on the luxury tuning market, but an important one nonetheless. The first vehicle to receive the ARES transformative touch was the Mercedes G-Class. While there are many upgrade packages available for the sturdy luxury SUV out there, this one stands out thanks to its unique character.
Extremely classy and sophisticated, the upgraded G-Class is both more luxurious and more powerful. A careful software update allows it to deliver 680 horsepower, while the new adjustable suspensions and exhaust system (titanium and steel) keep things extra sporty.
Other changes include 21 or 22-inch wheels, new front and rear bumpers, a modified grille, fresh side skirts, and a new diffuser. The inside was also upgraded with new seats, lots of Nappa leather, multimedia system, some carbon details, a flattened steering wheel, and a top-notch multimedia system.
