German brand MOSS added three new metallic tones to its Dune Collection of luminaires: Dark Bronze, Copper, and Gold. The new finishes join the original polished or anodized silver in the catalogue to bring character to the modular hanging lights.

The Gold finish elevates any space as it radiates with a resonant glow and the Copper gives a feeling of warmth. The Dark Bronze, on the other hand, gives a shadowy, atmospheric presence. The collection is also available for customization on the finish and color.

MOSS founder Daniel Becker and in-house designer Elisa Bakaniev designed the Dune Collection for architectural scale. The lights take its name and undulating shape after the flowing forms of sand dunes.

Each segment of the luminaire connects through a built-in plug-in system that enables on-site assembly. The system also allows the light to adapt to the spatial volume of its location.

Each Dune light comprise of repeated shades joined via precise structural connectors. These connectors have a subtle and quiet appearance that allow the undulating forms to stand out, while providing a warm and evenly articulated light distribution.

Speaking of the shade, each is pressed from high-quality aluminum, satin-finished and then anodized or polished. Then lined up next to each other, with their dynamic curves and soft surfaces adding a mesmerizing visual landscape to any space.

The Dune Collection can take on horizontal, spatial, or vertical arrangements in three dimensions to adapt to countless architectural situations. The series launched in 2024 and went on to win an iF Design Award in 2025.
