Now that we’ve spent some time with Microsoft’s 2018 range of Surface products, you should know that the company delivered improvements all around. Just to set your expectation, you won’t find a drastic aesthetic change from last year’s products, but you can rest assured that the company made all the right upgrades where it matters the most—performance. Once again, the Microsoft Surface Studio 2 makes our jaws drop.
A little physical tweak would have been great, but we know that you would rather put your money on a device that delivers so much more. Here we have the Surface Studio 2—a device that still manages to leave us stunned every time we gaze upon its massive but sleek frame.
Hands down, this metal-clad behemoth is the undisputed winner when its compared to Apple’s latest-generation iMac. You get a gorgeous 28-inch PixelSense Display that supports up to 10 points of touch with a resolution listed at 4500 x 3000. It stands on an adjustable and robust swivel, which Microsoft calls Zero Gravity Hinge that permits users to reposition the screen effortlessly as they see fit.
As we’ve pointed out beforehand, the Microsoft Surface Studio 2 is armed with Intel’s newest processor paired with a 16GB or 32GB DDR4 RAM. Users can choose to equip an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with a 6GB GDDR5 memory or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. The package already includes a Surface Pen, Surface Keyboard, and a Surface Mouse.
