The Kormaran K7 Luxury Personal Watercraft ($TBA) seems more like something Q thought up for James Bond than an actual watercraft. This high-tech, 23-foot speedboat has the unique ability to change its mode, even at speed, from a monohull to a catamaran, trimaran, or even a hydrofoil.

The secret is the electronically activated hydraulic-arms which can shift the outrigger hulls out to different configurations. Partially extended, it pushes the center hull up for a catamaran layout. Fully deployed, it drops back into the water to become a trimaran. Foldout hydrofoils can be extended from the monohull configuration to lift the hull out of the water, thus reducing drag by 80% and decreasing fuel consumption. There’s also an 11-foot extendable deck for sunbathing.

With its 493 horsepower “Triple-Jet-Drive” engine, the Kormaran can reach a top speed of 45 mph. There is a two-person bench seat behind the pilot seat, and night mode provides both red LED lights and aquamarine strip lighting for a perfect ambiance. The leather interior allows plenty of personalization, even the wooden decks can be switched from teak to your wood of choice.
