It is not breaking news that Michael Jordan is a golf aficionado, so it was just a question of time before Nike’s offshoot Jordan brand introduced a golf shoe inspired by “His Airness”. And finally here it is: the Jordan Flight Runner Golf ($TBA), an awesome pair of golf kicks that have the potential to maximize your game.
An adaptation of the Jordan Flight Runner 2 trainer with highlights of Nike Golf’s technical designs, this new sneaker-golf shoe features a combination of mesh and synthetic materials in the upper for lightweight support and extra breathability, coupled with interweaving Nike Flywire filaments, for a snug fit. In the midsole there’s a forefoot moderation plate that stabilizes the foot when twisting, while the outsole sports TRI-LOK spikes that (besides looking very cool) provide grip & stability. Set to be released (on Jordan.com) in a limited edition later this month, Nike’s Jordan Flight Runner Golf come in black and grey.
