The iconic Jeep Wrangler Willys makes a much-deserved comeback. This at least offsets the rather lackluster Jeep Wrangler from 2018. Make no mistake, that iteration brought added comfort and refinement. But it ditched all the off-roading prowess that made Wranglers legendary.

Disappointing as that was, it was not surprising. Jeep has carved a name for itself as quite the temperamental automaker, changing things from time to time, often without ample reason given. But thankfully, a new cycle is due. So comes the Jeep Wrangler Willys, which makes a comeback for the fourth-generation Wrangler for the 2020 model year.

The new Jeep Wrangler Willys brings back the off-roading capability of the vaunted Rubicon trim at a less eye-watering price tag. This model takes the basic Wrangler’s base and tacks on a real limited-slip differential. You also get other Jeep Wrangler parts like 32-inch all-terrain tires, enhanced brakes, plus Rubicon rock rails and shocks.

Apart from those, you’ll also find LED headlamps and fog lamps for added visibility, with a black grille and black wheels for some added aesthetic oomph. Don’t forget the Jeep Wrangler Willys decal on the hood, for added flair. If you want the ride to stand out even further, opt for the wackier color options like “Punk’n” (orange), “Hellayella” (bright yellow) and “Mojito!” (bright green).

The ride starts at $33,740 for the two-door model, upped to $37,240 if you want the four-door. Again, much, much cheaper than the Rubicon, but with essentially similar chops. Hit the link below for more information.
