As we draw ever closer to the end of 2026, Ducati still has an awesome surprise for its fans. The timing is impeccable, given Halloween just wrapped up. Its iconic naked sport bike is getting a stealthy aesthetic revamp. One which gives it a sleek and menacing vibe. This is the new Monster Dark.

The Italian moto marque bills this model as “The Dark Side of the Legend.” If you are a proponent of blackout colorways, this machine is a fine example of remarkable performance with a distinct aethetic appeal. Its aggressive silhouette then flaunts a fresh collection of all-black livery.

You won’t find the familiar red accents associated with the manufacturer. Instead, everything appears cohesive with the Dark Stealth black paint job. According to sources, Monster Dark pays homage to M600 Dark units that hit the market in 1993 and 1998. Each build begins with an aluminum monocoque front frame.

A liquid-cooled, 890 cc, 90-degree V2 engine doubles as a structural component of the chassis. True to its name, the mill supplies 111 horsepower and 67 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox. This murdered-out bad boy will take you from zero to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. It can also hit a top speed of 149 mph.

To make each ride a smooth one, the Monster Dark arrives with a 43 mm Show USD fork (non-adjustable) up front. Meanwhile, a Showa monoshock with an adjustable preload is mounted to the aluminum double-sided swingarm. Both ends are rocking cast alloy rims wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires. Lastly, Ducati says it is “a bike designed to leave a mark and rewrite the rules.”
