A desk knife will always come in handy when you need to open packages, an envelope, or other small items or packages. You don’t have to always rely on your multitool or fish around your desk for a pair of scissors. But of course, you need something to hold your knife on the table so you can have it within easy reach at all times. Craighill’s Desk Knife Plinth does just that.

This collaboration between Vicente Muñoz and Craighill comes with a pyramidal base and individually cast in pigmented concrete. It features a void that holds a knife securely in place along its center of mass.

Craighill’s Desk Knife Plinth is a piece of art. It is timeless, fully functional, and looks great as a table display too. It is elegant and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. It fits right in with the rest of your table essentials. It is durable and boasts a solid heft so it doesn’t slide off your desk or easily tip over when you accidentally knock it off.

Each piece is handmade and unique so slight imperfections are inherent to the material. Each piece is then unique to each owner. Moreover, this knife plinth is not on the bulky or large size too. It weighs just 4 ounces and doesn’t take up a lot of space on your table. At a size of 3.5″ x 1.25″ x 1.25″, it can just sit in the corner and not bother with your work.

Craighill’s Desk Knife Plinth even comes in a variety colors including Rust, Jade, Slate, and Honey. Desk knife is sold separately. But you can certainly find some other use for it too, like maybe a paper or note holder.
