Perhaps you don’t remember the original BMW 3.0 CSL from the 1970s, and it doesn’t even matter because now there’s a new BMW Coupe Sport Leichtbau to drool over. And it’s a badass Bimmer.

The German company hasn’t exposed many details about the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage ($TBA), but they have thrown a series of images our way, and it is clear that the car has a unique perspective on the road. Everything from the wide rear to the dangerous front is made of carbon fiber, and you also get goodies like laser headlights, 21 -inch wheels, large air ducts and an interior straight from a sci-fi movie. The engine is an e-Boost hybrid six-cylinder cooled by a massive carbon fiber deflector. The 3.0 CSL Hommage is a sick machine, and if you are unhappy with the yellow paint, it’s just too bad, because it is the only color that BMW has chosen to decorate it with.
