This Halloween, add some usable artistic flair to your decor with the Ash & Fir Backflow Incense Burner. Unlike traditional incense burners that release smoke outward, backflow burners release the smoke downward. This creates a hypnotizing show of cascading smoke that looks like a ghost lost in a glass tomb.
The burner relies on convection to create a downward flow of smoke. It needs two things, a hollowed-out cone and the burner’s curvature, to ensure smoke cascades downward like a waterfall. The glass burner is engineered to contain most of the smoke released by the incense cone within the dome.
Ash & Fir’s Backflow Incense Burner uses backflow-specific cones placed on a dedicated spot at the top. Its strategic position directs the “waterfall” of smoke to a finely-detailed sculpture housed inside the dome. The smoke cascades over each intricate detail, creating mesmerizing smoke patterns that vary with each burn.
There are five sculpture designs: a skull, bear, snake, bison, and a volcano, all dressed in black for a beautiful contrast against the hazy smoke. Aside from being visually appealing, the backflow burner is also functional. It fills the room with either the scent of Frankincense or Sandalwood.
When not in use, it stands as an artistic display. Ash & Fir’s Backflow Incense Burner comes with two tins of specially formulated, gently-scented, long-lasting dipped backflow incense cones. Meanwhile, the sculptural accents themselves are engineered to contain smoke and reduce residue. The holes at the base of the glass dome also clear out the cascading smoke to reduce residue.
