Cuisinart’s new CONCENTRA Cold Brew & Coffee Concentrate Maker offers versatile functionality with its sleek, streamlined control panel that ensures a user-friendly experience every time. This machine lets you switch between hot and cold coffee beverages with the press of a button.

It delivers full-flavored cold brew in as little as five minutes and makes coffee concentrate (as bitter as espresso) you can use in both hot and cold beverages. It produces a single-serve of concentrated coffee that you can mix with ice, water, milk, or use in coffee-based cocktails.

A traditional cold brew process normally requires 12 hours or overnight steeping in the refrigerator. But CONCENTRA cuts out that lengthy wait time without compromising the brew outcome. It steeps rapidly in a low-pressure, controlled-flow water cycle with no water bypass to ensure a fuller brew.

It uses ambient water temperature, and not heat, to steep the concentrate and cold brew. This ensures the machine dispenses smooth, rich cold brew that is less acidic and less bitter. Cuisinart notes that the brew temperature also depends on the starting water temperature in the reservoir.

Meanwhile, CONCENTRA offers an equally simple operation. It features five programs displayed along its side. One is cold brew concentrate, the machine’s sole function, and four cold-brew sizes (8, 10, 12, and 16oz). Pressing the chosen coffee size dispenses the right amount of water into the waiting cup along with the cold brew concentrate. It also has two brew modes: Concentrate gives you 2oz of bold coffee concentrate, and Auto-Dilute gives you up to 16oz of fresh cold brew. It comes with a cup with an airtight lid that threads into the cup base for on-the-go use.
