Apple faces plenty of competition in the smartphone, tablet, and computer segment. However, it is the most dominant player in the smartwatch and TWS audio scene. If you own an iPhone, then you’re likely to pair it with something like the AirPods Pro 3. Several generations in, and the latter still uses the same white plastic.
Sadly, the material is far from durable. Bumps or drops even from short heights can cause cosmetic damage. To mitigate this, AULUMU crafts the A39 out of TPU, which disperses kinetic energy efficiently. In fact, it’s also a crucial component of many smartphone cases. Despite the angular aesthetic, the surfaces and edges do not easily snag.
Meanwhile, the locking mechanism is made of zinc alloy. There are five colorways available: Gray, Burgundy, Silver Gray, Translucent Gray, and Black.
