The brutish Mercedes C63’s have been getting a makeover with a tweak here and a tweak there, to improve the driving dynamics while giving a slicker look in general. Don’t worry if you are concerned that they may be distinguishing the fire these bad boys are capable of – they are not.
The 4.0-liter V8 twin-double charged engine will be ever-present and correct but will be paired to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission box that allows for quicker shift times.
AMG Dynamics have also been added to these beasts to provide them with more advanced agility in different driving modes. You can choose from Basic, Advanced, Pro and Master to adjust the dynamics of the car taking corners based on where you are burning rubber!
It’s not just the heart and exterior of the beast that has been updated, as internally it has a new radiator designed specifically for AMG with a high gloss chrome finish and vertical louvers. Aerodynamics have been given close attention with updates on the rear diffuser and an enhanced twin-tailpipe trim with a slick high-gloss chrome coating.
Rather than taming the beast, Mercedes in their wisdom toughened it up, and gave it more control!
