The Original 1968 Mustang Bullitt, which was made famous by Steve McQueen, just made a surprise appearance when Ford showcased their 2018 version of the Bullitt. The original Bullitt was missing for nearly forty years after being bought by Robert Kiernan in response to a local classified ad but he sadly passed away in 2014. His son Sean vows to never sell the car no matter the price.
Sean’s ultimate goal is to contribute to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research, which is the same disease that took his father’s life. The original itself was well looked after, had over 50,000 miles put on it and looked good as new when it made its grand resurface at the Detroit North American International Auto Show.
