One exciting feature of the major car shows is the exhibition of the often-times unusual concept vehicles dreamed up by the most talented auto makers in the world. While not likely to ever produce in droves, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Concept Car ($NA) reinterprets the luxury convertible on a grand scale.
This all electric two-seater coupe stretches a full 20 feet from its ‘boat tail’ format with narrow tail lights to its vertical grillwork inspired by the classic pinstripe suit. The body is wrapped in Nautical Blue Metallic paint along its contoured length with a white high-quality Nappa leather interior and the custom top that includes rose gold threads interwoven to compliment the dark finish.
The Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet plays on the Land Yacht vibe with its low-slung body that holds the powerful battery pack. It can do a respectable 0-60 in four seconds although the designers are staying mum on its top speed.
