Jaime Fenwick, founder of ROA Motorcycles has design and modification in his blood. It was his grandfather, Rafael Onieva Ariza, who started the original R.O.A. motor company in 1952 Madrid, Spain. Reforming the family business to create custom rebuilt bikes just three years ago, he has completed eighteen builds so far and proven he is a force to be reckoned with.

His latest, this classic BMW R80, has been designed as a blend of café racer and scrambler styles. There is a hooped subframe that helps form the smooth lines along with its brown faux-suede seat. The dashboard is a minimalist design with its most striking feature the addition of a T&T Speedo. The tail lights are LED’s that float above the license holder. The original tank was given a high-gloss, Navy Blue paint job that compliments the matte black of the body and engine.

With his builds coming out as clean and beautiful as this BMW R80, Fenwick has made the custom motorcycle world, and his grandfather’s memory, proud of the tradition he is maintaining.
