Athletic Propulsion Labs is always testing new ways to boost your performance through superior footwear. They have just released a cool new member of the “Jump Higher” line of basketball shoes called the APL Boomer ($195).
This is a high-top silhouette joined with a molded heel counter than locks the foot in place to prevent slipping. Open mesh window wraps provide airflow and help keep feet dry and cooled, while the full-length inner boot is cushioned for maximum hold. The Load ‘N Launch technology (forefoot compression springs) in the insole is what helps develop not only extra comfort for the foot but is critical to the accelerated vertical leap the APL Boomer has waiting to give you. The boost is pronounced enough that the Load ‘N Launch tech has been banned by the NBA!
Outside, the rugged non-slip rubber outsoles are augmented with segmented herringbone for unparalleled traction of the floor. The kicks keep it simple with only two colorways available: Space Grey and Black Onyx. Whichever one you pick, you will obviously add extra umph to your game.
