We’ve seen some wild fatbikes in the past, but the this one looks like it eats other bikes for breakfast. The Xterrain500 Electric Fatbike ($TBA) sports a jumbo 10-inch-wide front tire, designed to ensure a great amount of float, so you can ride it effortlessly on soft surfaces like mud, sand or snow.
Boasting a RockShox suspension with movable forks, riders can swap the 20 x 10-incher with a more traditional ( included with the bike ) 26 x 4-inch tire, for urban/off-road use. A 48-volt Samsung battery coupled to a 500-watt electric rear hub motor adds pedaling support for a top speed of 20 mph, with a battery range of approximately 25 miles per charge. Expected to be launched on Indiegogo at the beginning of next week, the Xterrain500 Fatbike would sell for an affordable $1,600. Details in the video
