Ever since their inception in 1971, the adidas Stan Smith were set to become one of the greatest sneakers ever. And with their latest version –the adidas Originals Stan Smith “Copper Kettle” ($100.00)- the kicks reaffirm their position as an iconic and stylish brand for retro tennis shoe fans.
Born out of collaboration with Stockholm retailer Sneakersnstuff, the “Coppers” draw inspiration from the appearance of the Stockholm Brewing Company, the newest (and only) brewery in the Södermalm district. With its shiny bronze upper and malt-colored lining, the shoe resembles the factory’s glorious copper brewing kettles, while the interior features a special co-branded insole that shows the adidas logo and pictures of SBC’s specially-sourced hops. Part of the ”Brewery Pack”, that features two other silhouettes, the Stan Smith “Copper Kettle” drops on May 23, and it looks perfect for the upcoming beer-drinking days.
