Being a single man living in this Amsterdam Garage Bachelor Pad doesn’t sound shabby at all. If you’re like us, you can probably picture yourself chilling out with friends, having a few drinks, getting some sexy blondes to come over…
Going back to the apartment, it’s been transformed from a 1950s abandoned commercial building into this beautiful home, where the dutch interior designers BRICKS have entirely re-built much of the space, leaving some key elements behind to show the space’s past. The place looks like the ideal bachelor pad, featuring a large kitchen and living area, spacious walk-in shower, and easy access to the actual garage. As you walk in, a stylish black-and-white kitchen welcomes you, where the center piece is taken by a self-designed table positioned beneath 2 huge industrial lights. A step further, there’s a double-height living room featuring a glass atrium, that passes natural light into the space, where a beautiful old station clock reigns.
A central garden (that harvests rainwater from the roof to water the plants), leads to the master bedroom, where a suspended vintage motorcycle adds a “wow factor”. Decorated with second-hand furniture and collector’s items, the 1450 square-foot Amsterdam Garage Bachelor Pad boasts an overall relaxed bohemian feel, a space full of stories and history. Still, a place where partying is allowed!
