If you´ve ever been on a plane and been bumped in the elbow by a passing air steward then you have no doubt been introduced to the airplane trolley. Never did we think these metal boxes could be used for anything other than bringing us over priced refreshments. However, German company Skypak is using old trolleys to make unique furnishing and storage solutions. This Wine & Whiskey Bar ($2,900) from the La Barrique Collection delivers an ingenious and rustic looking store for your favorite bottles. Using reclaimed wood on the panels and featuring a two chamber temperature setup for red or white wine, the La Barrique looks superb and is completed with a glass panel pressure door and removable shelves.
