Google Glass has been making waves in the technology world for some time, and rightly so we have to admit. However, if Google’s particular set of eye-frame personal computers are a little too flimsy for your sporty needs, then the Recon Jet is going to be perfect. Created by award winning tech company Recon Instruments, the Recon Jet ($TBA) is a sports version of Google’s product. In other words it is a smartphone that can be worn on the eyes, or as the company describes the product, a “wearable, network-ready, sensor rich, microcomputer and display”.
Weighing in at just 60 grams the Recon Jet is perfect for keeping weight down when doing sports and comes with a dual core processor, dedicated graphics, Wi-Fi, ANT , Bluetooth, GPS, HD camera, and a comprehensive suite of sensors. via
