Unveiled back in September, the Fish Pro is the latest by Sea-Doo, famed makers of personal watercraft and boats. As the name suggests, this PWC was designed specifically for anglers, made with the help of PWC fishinger expert Andrew Hill, who, in the past decade, has specialized in customizing personal watercraft for fishing expeditions.

The Fish Pro, which Sea-Doo claims is the “first and only true personal watercraft built specifically from the factory for fishing,” is based on one the ST3. That’s the same hull you’ll find on the on the Sea-Doo RXT-X, GTX Limited, and Wake Pro. However, it now boasts an extended deck that’s 30cm longer, providing room for a cooler box and spare fuel. The hull has longer strakes for better stability as well, which should help keep the boat upright when standing still on water.

On the back, you’ll discover a slew of fishing essentials. Among them is a 51-liter LinQ cooler box with two drain holes, a grip mat on the lid, and four fishing rod holders. There’s also a mesh pocket included on the front, complete with a secure clip to prevent the lid from popping open when you hit bumps while seafaring.

One notable change is the included Garmin fish finder, the industry standard when it comes to accurately locating fish. On the dash, you’ll find a 7.6-inch widescreen digital display. No touchscreen, though.

The Fish Pro has a 70-liter fuel tank, up from 60 liters in its other PWC models. Underneath it all is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder Rotax engine that tops up at 155 horsepower. With these specs, Sea-Doo promises the Fish Pro will have a longer riding range than any boats in its lineup.
