Original Grain has made an art of merging wood and steel into superior hand-crafted timepieces and now they have partnered with Kentucky’s famous Jim Beam Black to create a spectacular limited set of 500 watches using recycled Jim Beam American White Oak bourbon whiskey barrels.
Each of these numbered watches comes complimented in a Gentlemen’s Kit that includes a Branded Collaborative Flask, Italian Leather Band, Certificate of Authenticity Numbered from 1 to 500, branded wood emblem from the Jim Beam barrels used, and special tools for removing links or changing the bands – all enclosed in a custom wooden box.
The oak faceplate is accented with copper for a rich look and is powered by an Automatic 8215 Miyota 21 jewel movement with a 40 hour power reserve mounted in a 316L Stainless Steel case and links.
