Even if you’re not a truck person, we’re pretty sure you’ll find the Jeep Crew Chief 715 Concept ($NA) to look incredibly appealing. And seriously badass (yes, we had to sneak that word in again).
Part of this year’s Easter Jeep Safari concepts (held in Moab, Utah), this yummy 4×4 is designed as a tribute to legendary Kaiser M715 U.S. military service vehicle (produced between ’67 – ’69), and – just as its forebear – it’s “what the base commander would drive.” It features a classic, yet modern construction with a rear seat and extra doors, a 3.6L V6 engine with five-speed automatic transmission, steel front/rear bumpers, 20″ beadlock wheels and 40″ NDT military tires, an onboard air system, 4″ lift kit, Fox shocks, and a 5ft cargo bed. Inside, you get the bare basics (what did you expect private?), including leather bucket seats with canvas inserts, aircraft-inspired switches, Mopar all-weather mats, and a central navigation compass. Just like in the good ‘ol days.
