One of the things we have always loved about rally and rallycross is the sport takes ordinary cars and makes them extraordinary, albeit with lots of money and plenty or engineering skill. This Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross Beetle fits that bill perfectly and is the latest car that will tackle the blend of road track racing and rallying. The Beetle is a bit of a hairdresser’s car in its normal guise but with Andretti Autosport treatment it becomes a rival for more established rally brands such as Ford and Mitsubishi.
