Shaped ice cubes are an interesting novelty to lend interest to drinks and the craftsmen at DineAsia have a set of Skull Ice Cube Molds ($15) that do even more. Made of very flexible silicone; FDA approved, BPA-free, non-toxic, leak-free, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe, this mold makes four ice skulls at a time. The ice cubes are large at 2″ tall and 2.36″ long so that they can keep a drink cold longer and melt slower for less dilution of your drink. The mold snaps together firmly and has small drainage holes to bleed off excess water as the skulls freeze.
Even though these molds are designed primarily for ice, they can be used in a number of different ways, letting you create skulls out of chocolate, fruit juices, jello, or even soap.
