Working closely with internationally acclaimed naval architect and designer Espen Oeino, Silveryachts is dedicated to creating spectacular vessels characterized by simplicity, efficiency and speed. The stunning Silver Fast superyacht is the most advanced project that they have completed so far, boasting long range cruising capabilities and a remarkable balance between luxury and minimalism. It is also the world’s largest and fastest aluminum motor yacht.
The success of this project was proven on the yacht’s maiden voyage, when it traveled for 3,200 nautical miles at an average speed of 17 knots. She completed the journey from Perth, Western Australia to Sri Lanka using up only 400 liters (105 gallons) of fuel per hour. Powering the Silver Fast are muscular yet efficient MTU engines which can ensure a cruising speed of 20-22 knots, while the top speed is 27 knots.
The quantum-zero stabilizers keep the yacht steady and vibration-free during the slower nighttime journeys for a good night’s sleep every night. Its remarkable 4,500 nautical mile range (at 18 knots) is more than enough for long ocean passages. Actually, she can cross the Atlantic at a record-braking speed of 22 knots. Having a shallow draft, it can fare well even in not so deep waters, like in the Bahamas or the Maldives.
Spacious and uncluttered, the interiors were tastefully designed by Andreas Holnburger of Vain Interiors. They feature custom finishes such as metallic paint for the walls and even leather steps. Wood paneling was also added into the mix for good measure, thus adding an air of warmth and coziness to the spaces. Seven lavishly appointed guest rooms are spread across the main deck and the lower deck, while the upper deck is reserved entirely for the owner.
Amenities like the theater room with massive plasma screen or the ‘winter garden’ space surrounded by sliding glass walls make the yacht extremely covetable. Other highlights include the 20-seat dining area; the large spa area with beauty salon, hot steam room, sauna and massage room; the outdoor Jacuzzi for eight; the state-of-the-art 70,000 watt sound system; and the ‘touch-and-go’ helipad. All this comes at the spicy price of €79.5 million (approx. $88.75 million).
