Just hearing the name Rolls-Royce and we immediately imagine riding in the lap of luxury. Hey, it’s understandable given that the marque is synonymous with premium-tier performance and quality. It seems that it’s not going to change anytime soon as the Rolls-Royce Phantom Tranquillity proves. Collectors are most likely scrambling for their checkbooks as the brand is limiting production to only 25 examples globally. A closer inspection of this beauty reveals a cosmic influence on its design.
Feel at peace the moment you step into its luxurious cabin as you settle into its plush seating. Look around and you’ll find top-notch materials such as stainless steel, space-grade aluminum, and a beautiful lighting system. Occasional splashes of gold dot the interior together with Selby Gray and Arctic White leatherwork. According to the sources, the gold finish of its audio speakers drew inspiration from the Voyager satellites. The space probes each carried two gold records that held images, sounds, and other information about the human race.
It’s clear that the theme leans heavily toward outer space, which is why the Rolls-Royce Phantom Tranquillity stands out. Additionally, the volume controller includes a piece of Muonionalusta meteorite for pure awesomeness. Meanwhile, the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem also gets a premium treatment. It’s fashioned from titanium with gold accents for good measure. If you are expecting noticeable changes from a regular Phantom, it’s not immediately visible on the exterior. Nevertheless, owners will be enjoying a different experience inside the vehicle. Expect it to cost astronomically more than the standard model.
