Bugatti is a marque that does not need to prove itself, no matter how lofty their claims can get. According to industry pundits, this hypercar is just the third unit built by the French luxury car firm’s one-off division. For those curious about the services, the team closely works with the client to craft a truly bespoke ride. As long as budget is not a concern, owners can request almost anything, as long as it does not compromise safety or performance.
Likewise, it needs to be based on an existing Bugatti platform. In the case of the Destrier, its underpinnings are those of the track-only Bolide. While there are no clear indications of road-legal usage, the fact that there are turn signals, climate control, and other related elements hints that it might be so.
