We may be huge advocates of understated motifs, but a pop of color now and then is just as welcome. In fact, even the world’s top luxury watchmakers love to incorporate intense hues to disrupt the scene. Furthermore, the exclusive production numbers also significantly inflate the demand for these references. At the same time, Richard presents its RM 07-01 Coloured Ceramics collection.
“The trio is the pinnacle of an aesthetic and technical exploration into colour and form that first began in 2021. True to the spirit of previous editions, these three new RM 07-01 timepieces, each limited to 50 pieces, conclude a unique dialogue between bold modernity and watchmaking tradition, now signed with the brilliance of gem-setting,” reads the official introduction.
This cool capsule of haute horlogerie is available in Lavender Pink, Blush Pink, and Powder Blue. Each entry in the RM 07-01 Coloured Ceramics series sports a curved tonneau case. The dimensions are listed at 45.66 mm x 31.40 mm x 11.85 mm. For an excellent balance between toughness, chromatic vibrance, and resistance to corrosion, it uses Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal (TZP) ceramic.
Meanwhile, the case middle is polished white gold with brushed support pillars. Richard Mille then goes the extra mile to set a variety of gemstones for additional contrast. These dazzling elements appear on the case, bezel, and skeleton dial. Each style touts a distinct arrangement of textures and materials that resemble contemporary art.
Last but not least, we have the intricate in-house CALIBRE CRMA2 with a 50-hour power reserve. The automatic movement features 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and measures 29.90 mm x 22.00 mm x 4.92 mm. Does the new RM 07-01 Coloured Ceramics collection resonate with you? If not, Richard Mille has more.
