Chicago’s independent watchmaker Oak & Oscar continues to improve with the release of their third limited edition watch, the Jackson. Named in honor of the first official automobile road race in the US in 1895, starting and finishing in Jackson Park, Chicago, the hand-wound flyback chronograph is powered by the Swiss-made Eterna Caliber 3916M.

The elegant timepiece features two subdials on its face; the 9 o’clock position reads running seconds and the 3 o’clock subdial displays tracking for elapsed minutes and hours. The only other complication is the date wheel at 6 o’clock that is color matched with the dial in either Grey, Navy Blue, or Charcoal PVD. The total 400 units are subdivided with 150 units each of the Grey and Navy Blue dials and 100 Charcoal PVD watches.

The Jackson has a 40mm Stainless Steel case with a double-domed sapphire crystal. It has a water resistance to 165′ (50m), a 60-hour power reserve, and a two-year limited warranty. It comes with two leather straps and a matching leather watch wallet.
