It is sometimes easy to forget that the German brand is also pretty adept at building large vehicles and is one of the premier heavy load manufacturers in the world. The company has put its large vehicle expertise together with its experience from the odd foray into off-road travel to come up with the monstrous Mercedes-Benz Zetros 6×6 Expedition Vehicle.
As the name suggests, this is for the kind of outdoor excursion that calls for a little more than a few tents and singing around the camp fire. You can still bring the acoustic guitar if you want, but you will be travelling and sleeping in much more comfort. The Zetros ($TBA) 7.2 liter in-line six-cylinder pumps out 363bhp, which is not loads but when combined with mountains of torque is enough to drag you along at a fair clip. This vehicle is more about what´s going on inside though, and the impressive interior includes a kitchen, bedroom, flat screen TVs, marble floored bathrooms, and more. This is luxury motor home travel for the bad ass.
