With the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class XXL, ARES Atelier shows us all that age is not really important. The company was only founded last year, yet it has managed to draw a lot of attention with its outstanding luxury car customizations.
The experts at ARES Atelier took an S-Class Pullman and stretched its chassis before adding a really cool carbon fiber body kit. Obviously, they were not going to stop at that, so they also upgraded the brakes, added 21-inch alloy wheels, introduced 6 mm thick tempered side glass, and did some magic to the engine and transmission as well.
As a result, the luxurious limousine can put out 600 hp, which translates to a maximum speed of 155 mph, and a 0-62 mph time of only 4.8 seconds.
To match the newfound strong character of the car, they also upgraded the interior with Nappa leather, electric curtains, an all-new sound system, 17-inch foldable HD screens on the ceiling, glasses storage, cooling boxes, and iPads. The longer chassis provided extra room at the rear, which was used to install “vis-à-vis first class rear seats”. Customers can also opt for an armored version of the limousine, which includes a bomb detector. Not bad for a young company, is it?
