The Leica-Zagato collaboration is based on the two iconic brands’ shared appreciation of superior quality, tradition, exquisite craftsmanship, and innovation. For their very first project they spent long hours designing and developing a limited edition pair of binoculars, successfully incorporating advanced technologies into a new, inspiring design.
Called Leica Ultravid 8×32 ‘Edition Zagato’, the binoculars are made of lightweight aluminum and flaunt fine grooves into the outer shell for both visual appeal and a unique tactile sensation. Only 1,000 examples of the stylish binoculars will be manufactured, and they will each be offered with custom Italian leather case designed by Zagato.
Both brands have their logos seamlessly integrated into the stylish design, Leica holding a center spot, and Zagato having its name written on red anodized rings around the two front lenses. One pair of these binoculars will set you back €3,450 (approx. $3,800).
