It’s not everyday a car company and a footwear brand decide to get hitched,. Which makes Clarks and Land Rover’s new collaboration all the more special. When an automaker comes out with a shoe line, they’re usually geared toward proper footwear while driving. Not this time, however.

Clarks and Land Rover’s new collection of sneakers aren’t for driving, or at least not just. They’re for pretty much any adventure you can dream up. The sneakers are available in two variants, either hi-top sneaker-boots, or running shoes. For this collection, both companies balanced both ruggedness and style. The result is footwear that can withstand even the harshest of activities, but still keep your style in check.

All the models are sporting waterproof Gore-Tex fabric, which is a brand you might have heard of before if you’re a sneakerhead. This breathable fabric membrane can repel liquid water while allowing water vapor to pass through. If that’s not impressive enough, it’s also designed to be a lightweight, waterproof material for all-weather use.

Besides Gore-Tex, the shoes also feature ergonomic high-traction soles, not to mention shock-absorbing EVA midsoles. Basically, what this all means is that it’ll take some intense brute before you wear these kicks out, so you don’t have to worry about wearing them while attending to heavy-duty shenanigans.

Pricing starts at $200, with the most expensive model going as high as $230. Yeah, that’s a tad bit more expensive than your regular Nikes, but these will bring you comfort and robustness even as you venture into the outdoors, be it traversing cliffs or dunes or muddy waters.
