Scotland’s legendary Glenfiddich Distillery is introducing the newest addition to its famous Cask Collection of fine whiskies. This new release of the world’s best-selling single malt whisky is being made in partnership with France’s Baccarat Crystal.

The fancy concoction has been bottled into 600 hand-blown decanters created by Baccarat especially for the collection, each individually hand-numbered and signed. The 700ml decanters have a copper stopper and neck collar while the red cartouche is in 24-carat gold.

The whiskies are all single malts from 20 select casks. Glenfiddich’s Malt Master Brian Kinsman developed the expression for this series using the Solera method to simultaneously mature and blend the whiskies into a predominantly consistent flavor, although the use of a 2,000 liter Solera tun means there will be some small variations across the run. The notes are of “luxurious oak and sweet crème brûlée flavours…soft spices, raw cane sugar and caramelised fruit.”

This new Glenfiddich Cask Collection Finest Solera has been bottled at 48% ABV and is available exclusively through select travel retail outlets.
