Flint and Tinder knows their craft when it comes to vintage silhouettes with a modern purpose. For their Dobby Chore Short, they turned to the archives of French heritage menswear for a versatile design that would look great on both casual and semi-formal occasions.

Modeled after the traditional French workwear in the 1940s, this short is built for the outdoors. It has a durable and textured linen fabric made comfortable for all-day wear. Handcrafted out of a combination of materials, it uses 92% cotton to make it soft and breathable. The rest sums up to 2% polyurethane to make it tough against nature’s brunt and 6% linen for added luxury and durability.

Meanwhile, a special technique in the looming process also gives the fabric extra texture. Flint and Tinder also made sure that you get to bring your everyday essentials with you. The Dobby Chore Short has two pockets on the back and a front coin pocket, all made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

For convenience, this outerwear comes with a button fly at the front with faux horn buttons. It also has an adjustable drawcord closure for a customizable fit.

Flint and Tinder’s Dobby Chore Short can take you from the backyard BBQ to the beach, to the pool, or to a quick errand at the mall. It looks smart, stylish, and easily compatible with just about any upper wear. Pair it with a shirt or a breezy button-down and finished off with chinos or loafers to give it a modern twist. It comes in other colors too including Salt, Oak, and Turnbull Blue.
