Oh, how we love this beautifully angular and somewhat Lamborghini-esque bicycle! The actual source of inspiration for the BME Design B-9 NH Black is the iconic Stealth Fighter, also known as the F-117 Nighthawk military aircraft, designed to successfully slip under the radar. However, we cannot help to also see it as an eco-friendly Batmobile, if Batman ever did daily commuting.
Not that inconspicuous during the day – who can ignore such a superb and unique design? – the bike can actually pass completely unnoticed in low-light situations. The frame is manufactured out of carbon fiber, which makes it both highly resistant and remarkably lightweight. Carbon was actually the main material for this project, having also been used for the belt-drive system, the stem, the fork and even the seat.
Unfortunately, our world is not a perfect one, and the awesome design of the BME Design B-9 NH Black makes it highly appealing to thieves. Having anticipated that, its makers have fitted it with the highly effective Atomic22 security system. After all, the $8,800 price tag is nothing to sneeze at, and no one would ever want to see such a beauty being looted.
