Greg Clark, founder of Decicio Artisan Glass, in Seattle, Washington, has a love of the 2000-year old craft of glassblowing. In his studio he designs and creates individually hand-blown, one-of-a-kind glass containers and drinking vessels.

His latest creation consists of very understated 8 oz. whiskey glasses. Utilizing a no-frills approach, the Decicio Handblown Whiskey Glasses ($100-set of 4) have a subtle curve which makes them a pleasure to hold. The materials are simple and traditional as well. Silica sand, soda ash, and potassium are blended with the colorant materials and fired at 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit before Greg and his artisans can form the items.

These whiskey glasses have been given a light smoke color that helps accentuate the rich amber colors of your favorite bourbon, scotch, tequila, or digestif. While the glass vessels are food and dishwasher safe, they should not be used in the microwave or with very hot liquids. You have the option of buying the glasses individually, in groups, or with the matching decanter Decicio has crafted to complete the set.
