Cryptic Knives Friction Folder

Hand built in the Netherlands, the Cryptic Knives Friction Folder is an elegant and modern one-of-a-kind custom knife. Perfect for places where locking knives are not allowed, this tough little fella measures just 4.6″ opened and 3.4″ when closed.

With a 1.7″ tanto-style blade made of sturdy DIN 100 MnCrW4 tool steel (60 HRC), the knife sports a hidden detent spring inside to prevent the blade from swinging loose. The handles and pivots are stainless steel, the washers are phosphor bronze, and the gently curved design offers a comfortable in-hand feel while still being very pocketable & easy to carry.

Available also in an even smaller brass version, each friction folder has a brushed finish for improved wear resistance, and comes with a custom-made wooden display case. Due to the hand-crafted process, no two knives are exactly the same.
