Cadillac has done it again and delivered a stunning concept car in the form of the Cadillac Ciel Concept, an open-air auto that is both beauty and beast. Take a look at this design, drop dead gorgeous springs to mind, while we also think this is incredibly muscular, imposing, and let’s face it, sexy.
The Ciel (French for sky) is a four seat convertible that is as ferocious under the hood as it is beautiful above it. Boasting a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.6-liter Direct Injection V-6 engine, paired with a hybrid system using lithium-ion battery technology the Cadillac Ciel Concept would be both green and safe.
The only problem is that Cadillac has a habit of releasing concepts that never reach production. Sure, some have found their way to forecourts and we hope the Ciel will be a lucky one to move away from concept and into the real world. Rumours at Cadillac suggest it is at least a possibility that the Ciel will be made, or at the very least that many of its design features will be used on other new models.
