Built for the race track. Fully road-legal. The BMW Concept M4 GTS ($TBA) is a two-door silver bullet that packs new technologies for superior performance and killer looks.
Unveiled this past weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the new Bimmer follows the almost equally impressive 3.0 CSL Hommage, and it seems even more eager to rip the asphalt. The M4 GTS features an innovative water injection system which should deliver a significant output and torque boost. This will also be the first production car to incorporate OLED taillight technology, announcing a “new era in light design and lighting concepts”.
Details about the exact horsepower are kept hidden for the moment, but we do know that a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine will be the heart of this beast. Other performance-boosting details include a lightweight carbon fiber hood, a wide front air intake, an adjustable front splitter and rear wing made of exposed carbon. Oozing menace, the BMW Concept M4 GTS is finished in a Frozen Dark Grey hue with Acid Orange accents – kind of like Men’s Gear theme – proving Germans also know style.
