The new Bell Moto-3 RSD Malibu Helmet ($350) continues to demonstrate that Bell’s head gear is the epitome of classy styling on two wheels. The enduro, 80’s-infused helmet was the perfect candidate for the motorcycle-loving design experts at Roland Sands Designs to lend their special touch to a special edition of this classic lid.
Sands, a Long Beach, California native and ten-year professional motorcycle racer has taken the classic Moto-3 and given it a retro, straight out of the ’80’s” touch with his “Malibu” edition. The helmet features a white over blue colorway with red and gold stripes flowing around it. The iconic look is there but Sands has used modern construction and advanced safety features to create a helmet that is as safe as it is stylish.
The “Malibu” has a lightweight fiberglass composite shell, EPS lined chin bar, an anti-microbial terrycloth liner that can be removed for washing, and a secure 5-snap visor. DOT & ECE certified.
