Flashlights double as survival gear. They help with search-and-rescue missions, and their bright lights can disarm an attacker. Olight has torches with outputs of 1,000 lm and 7,000 lm (lumens), bright enough to cause momentary blindness. But its new Marauder 3 flashlight can be fatal to the eyes with its ridiculous 25,000 lumens.
It can literally turn night into day. The brand says the output matches its hulking X9R model, but at roughly half its size. It measures 5.98″ long and weighs 29.63 oz / 840 g (battery included). This flashlight also features a dedicated spotlight that projects a focused beam up to 1,000 meters (~3,280 ft). You can also cycle through three lighting modes, including a combined mode, for complete day-like visibility from close range to the horizon.
Meanwhile, a built-in automotive-grade 31,900mAh 46950 rechargeable lithium‑ion battery runs this powerhouse. It lasts up to 14 months in Moonlight mode and doubles as an emergency power bank. Its USB-C charging port supports 30W bidirectional charging. Olight says the battery can fully recharge an iPhone 17 Pro six times.
Conveniently, an integrated smart display shows the estimated runtime as you change brightness and the estimated remaining time for a full battery charge. Then dedicated indicators show key operating statuses at a glance. These include battery and brightness level, Moonlight mode, and high-temperature warnings.
The Marauder 3 unlocks and activates in one smooth motion using a touch-sensitive rotary dial. It also has a rotary unlock option, which is useful when using the flashlight with gloves on or wet hands, which makes touch control less practical. It’s available in three color options: Orange, Matte Black, and Midnight Blue. That is tremendous brightness in a compact, adventure-ready A6061-T6 aluminum body rated IPX8 for water resistance.
