Let’s say you have the riches to spend on the most lavish recreational vessel available. Moreover, it’s fully customizable from the ground up. What unique amenities would you come up with? If you need some inspiration, take a look at the Invision by Focus Yacht Design and find out if there is a feature you also want to incorporate.
To put things into perspective, virtually anything a client wants is on the table as long as the technology is available and it does not compromise safety or performance. We’ve written about several luxury ships of all sizes, but only a few can rightly claim the designation of being one-of-a-kind. So, what makes this monohull stand out?
At an overall length of 328 feet, the Invision boasts plenty of space across its decks. Given the generous seaworthy real estate, the possibilities are only limited by the imagination. Immediately visible is the “fully certified” helipad on the main deck. You’ll want a seasoned pilot and probably a light-duty chopper so the main rotor blades don’t clip the superstructure.
In true explorer fashion, its garage can hold tenders, submersibles, and other cool water toys. To augment your adventures, the helideck can also accommodate eVTOLs once certain models are commercially available. According to the press release, “This is not a feature list. It is a promise: those who come aboard can go anywhere.”
In one of the images, a forward owner’s suite comes with a circular skylight, which evokes an open-air feeling despite the enclosed blueprint. Meanwhile, staying on the Invision is never boring. There are plenty of social spaces to hang out in. Our personal pick is aft of the lower deck, where the waterline lounge is located.
